I use a VPN on my phone and nothing loads on the TV

If your phone is connected to a VPN and the TV isn’t, the TV may not be able to reach what you cast to it. Turn on Settings › TV › “Route everything through the VPN”: your phone passes what you cast on to the TV over its own connection.

This option isn’t for getting around geographic restrictions: respect each service’s terms.
